COVID-19's Effect on International Shipping Times
We ship most of our international packages using UPS Mail Innovations, which partners directly with the USPS for all international shipping. USPS uses commercial passenger flights to transport cargo internationally. Due to the global pandemic, the economic shutdowns have impacted international passenger and cargo flights for all carriers. Some carriers, including Delta and United, have over 90% of their planes not in use. USPS and other foreign postal administrations are also dealing with significant reductions in labor, up to 50%.
The good news is - As more countries open up and passenger flights start increasing we should expect our transits times to get much better and for delayed packages to start delivering. Learn more in the article via Forbes.
If you are expecting an international package from Keyport, and it hasn't arrived within a few weeks (please give it some extra time under the circumstances), do not hesitate to contact us at support@mykeyport.com, and we will do our best to follow up. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.
